In Achinsk, transport police detained a foreign citizen suspected of theft of the phone.

Everything happened in 2024 in the passenger train Tynda – Kislovodsk. A citizen of one of the Central Asian states returned to his homeland after working with a shift method and saw someone else's phone on a shelf in a reserved seat car. The gadget stood on charging, the foreigner turned it off the network and took it to himself. The owner of the phone – a resident of the Chelyabinsk region – quickly noticed the loss of the phone and contacted the police.

After the arrival of the investigative-operational group, the attacker, fearing the exposure, threw the stolen into the garbage bucket.

“Five months later, the suspect came to Russia again to work with a watch method and was detained. In relation to the man, they opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, for which the maximum punishment was established in the form of imprisonment for a term of two years, ”the Siberia transport police said.

Law enforcement officers remind: in order to avoid theft, do not leave the electronic devices, manual luggage and even large -sized luggage. In crowded places, do not take out mobile means of communication, funds and do not demonstrate them to others without need.
