Russians can more than double the size of their pension, Svetlana Bessarab (United Russia), a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, told TASS. According to her, this can be done if she is contacted 10 years later.
If a citizen decides to work for five years upon reaching retirement age, he can increase the size of his individual pension coefficients by 36% and the fixed payment by 45%. If he postpones retirement for 10 years, he will more than double his pension, – noted deputy
Bessarab recalled that in this case the person will receive a salary for 10 years, but not a pension. Therefore, a decision should be made based on personal gain and convenience, she emphasized.
Earlier it became known that the majority of Russian pensioners will receive January early payments – on the last working day of 2025, said Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs. Due to the long New Year's weekend, the pension will be received in an increased amount on December 30.
Prior to this, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Property, Land and Property Relations, Sergei Gavrilov, pointed out the need for a legal regulation of the procedure early retirement. In his opinion, it is necessary to expand the periods of work experience taken into account in order to realize the corresponding rights of citizens.
