SUEK-Krasnoyarsk enterprises traditionally celebrated Russia Day. The celebration was attended by company employees, veterans, schoolchildren and residents of mining towns.

The festive marathon started the day before. “Tricolor of Unity” and “Windows of Russia” campaigns were held in all divisions of the company. Miners, railway workers and factory workers received ribbons in the colors of the Russian flag and proudly pinned them on their work uniforms.

“Our state is multinational, and so is our team. We employ representatives of different nations, and all of them are worthy professionals. Russia is our common Motherland, and we are one whole,” said Andrey Matashov, a driver of railway construction machines at the mountain track section of the Borodino open-pit mine.

Russia Day was celebrated brightly in Borodino. The miners, together with members of the Trade Union.FM, joined the all-Russian “Windows of Russia” campaign, decorating administrative buildings with thematic posters. And then adults and children unfurled a 12-meter national flag at the main symbol of the city – the EKG-4 excavator, which has been greeting everyone at the entrance to the city of coal miners for more than 40 years. The action was continued with a dance flash mob that united representatives of different generations.

In Nazarovo, Russia Day began with movement. In the Berezovaya Roshcha eco-park, enterprise employees, members of the Profkomanda.FM and “silver” volunteers went out for joint exercises.

“Sport unites generations and strengthens team spirit,” notes Natalya Zima, leading specialist in personnel and administrative issues at the Nazarovsky open-pit mine. “Recharged with energy and positivity for the next few days!”

At the Berezovsky mine, the main emphasis of the holiday was the cultural diversity of our country. Employees organized a photo shoot in the national costumes of the peoples of Russia and the “Loaf of Unity” event, introducing participants to traditional baked goods from different regions. Together with the Trade Union Teams.FM, they solemnly raised the national flag to the Russian anthem, and the young participants of the festival were able to show their talents in a drawing competition on the asphalt.

The festive marathon ended with city events on June 12. Young employees of enterprises organized interactive platforms for children with creative competitions, relay races and games.

“Russia Day in the mining towns of the Krasnoyarsk Territory once again confirmed: the strength of the country lies in its people. In those who work, create, carefully preserve traditions, raise children and every day contribute to the development of their small homeland. It is these values that unite the teams of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk enterprises and help maintain the continuity of generations, respect for history and confidence in the future,” the company is confident.
