A plane carrying 200 passengers almost crashed while landing in Sochi
The landing of the Boeing 737-800 arriving from Pulkovo in the resort town turned out to be extremely difficult. During landing, the tail of the plane touched the runway.
There were 189 passengers and seven crew members on board. The tragedy was avoided and no one was hurt.
The damaged airliner has been suspended from flights and there is a possibility that it will be scrapped. The Federal Air Transport Agency began checking the incident.
