Eight people died when a railway station canopy collapsed in the Serbian city of Novi Sad

Serbia's interior minister said the rescue operation was “extremely difficult” and would continue for at least several more hours. Two more people may be under the rubble; a total of 30 were injured.
The station was built in 1964, and was recently renovated.
