Wołodymyr Zelanski commented on the influence on his country of the conflict of Israel with Iran
– Iran actively acts against us, providing Russia's weapons and technology. This makes them a serious threat. Despite this, we do not strive for escalation – said Zelanski in a conversation broadcast on Friday.
Iran is delivered to Russia's armed forces, among others Drones, which are then used to attack goals in Ukraine.
The president pointed out that Iran makes it easier for Russia to wage a war against Ukraine. – Iran uses its oil profits to finance the war. This is a difficult reality we are dealing with – said Zelanski.
In March 2024, there were reports that Russia in exchange for ballistic missiles may want to provide Iran with technologically advanced Russian weapons, which could exacerbate the conflict in the Middle East even more – he emphasized.
– As for whether Russia will help Iran in return, to be honest, they already do it. The question is whether they will do it explicitly. And this, in my opinion, depends completely on the strength and clarity of the US position – continued the Ukrainian leader.

– Let's be honest. We do not want escalation in any part of the world. But if it continues, if there is another wave of conflict, more rocket shells, more cooperation between Russia and Iran, the situation can become even more dangerous – warned Zelanski in an interview published after Israel's goals in Iran.
On Saturday, Zelanski estimated that the escalation of Israel's conflict with Iran caused an increase in the size of military assistance passed on to Israel, and Ukraine would not want it to result in a reduction in support for Kiev. He noted that the exacerbation of the Israeli-Iranian conflict led to a rapid increase in oil prices, which is unfavorable for Ukraine and promotes Russia.
