A monument to Stalin will be erected in Vologda: the authorities claim that “there is a reason for this…

Governor of the Vologda Region Georgy Filimonov said that the decision to install the monument was made “based on requests from the public.”
With all our understanding of the ambiguous interpretation of the role of the individual, we must recognize the great achievements, know the history of our country, honor and be proud of it, because our history is a single and indivisible chain of interconnected, chained links of the historical process, each of which shaped the strength, spirit and will of our great people.
The monument will appear on the territory of the Vologda Exile house-museum, in which Stalin lived from December 1911 to February 1912. The work on making the sculpture is almost complete.
In the summer, Filimonov showed a video from the reception room, in which portraits of Stalin, Vladimir Lenin and Vladimir Putin hang, among others. In one of the paintings the governor shakes hands with Stalin. According to him, this is a “conceptual” gift.
