Dorin Coltofeanu and Virgiliu Parghel are put in the foreground by the Calderon Foundation La Mobu – the Bucharest International Art Fair, which now participates, after the 2023 edition.
The two were chosen from the artists whom the Foundation has in the portfolio, having as common denominator the fact that they were among the last students of Corneliu Baba, graduating in 1979.
Dorin Coltofeanu (b. August 20, 1950, Buzăului Turn) is recognized for his fairy -tale scenes, for transparent, warm colors. He has been, since 1990, a member of the Union of Plastic Artists in Romania and has exhibited over the years in the country and abroad, solo and in collective presentations.
Virgiliu Parghel (b. May 2, 1954, Iași), a former university framework, is the author of strong, expressive works.
He is a member of the Union of Plastic Artists in Romania, and his works are found in public collections, such as the Suceava Art Museum and the National Museum of Bukovina, but also in private collections.
