The torrential rains on Friday afternoon flooded several streets and boulevards in the Capital, according to the reports of traffic drivers and information transmitted by B365. Among the affected areas are the Boulevard of Metallurgy, the Stefan cel Mare road and the youth area.
The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Bucharest-Ilfov (ISU B-IF) said on Friday afternoon that, until the time of transmitting this news, the crews intervened on DN5, Jilava, at the intersection with the belt, where water has accumulated on the road, and on Pecineaga Street, where a tree fell on a car.
According to the drivers who published images on the Facebook groups, Poştalionului street, Toporași Street, Dragoș Mladinovici Aleea, Turnu Măgurele area and the descent from the united Europe 4 Bridge 4 were also flooded.

And Apa Nova issued a press release stating that during Fridays there were intense showers and large volumes of rainfall in the Capital.
Between 14:30-17:00, the maximum amount of fallen water was 44 l/sqm, and locally there were over 70 l/sqm, the most affected areas being youth, Berceni, Metallurgiei and Camil Ressu.
Public transport blocked in several areas
The traffic is also disturbed on the public transport lines. At the time of transmitting this news, line 41 is blocked, and for the travelers take over the shuttle line 641, which circulates between Ghencea and Piata Press.
Lines 141, 220, 232 and 241 are blocked on the Boulevard of Metalurgia, in the Comișani station, on both directions, due to the water accumulation, said STB.
Also, lines 182 and 282 are blocked on Lake Tei Boulevard, in Luigi Galvani station, on both directions, due to a fallen tree. For these, STB announced the deviation of traffic.
