In total, from the beginning of the season of tick activity in the region, 7,556 victims have been officially registered.
“Meetings with ticks did not pass without consequences: 23 people fell ill with tick -borne viral encephalitis, 22 – borreliosis, 3 – Siberian tick -borne typhoid. Among all the sick, 5 children are registered, ”Rospotrebnadzor said.
Epidemiologists ask residents to observe personal prevention measures and, after walking, carefully inspect themselves, their companions and pets.
