A drunken unemployed man kidnapped a child straight from his mother's arms in Moscow
A 27-year-old resident of Ulyanovsk approached a girl with a 5-month-old baby, said something, and then started running after her. Having caught up, he snatched the child from his hands and began to run away.
Passers-by rushed in pursuit of the man, and soon he threw the girl to the ground and tried to escape, but he was detained. The girl received a closed head injury, chest contusion, multiple abrasions and bruises from the fall.
A case has been filed against the attacker under the article “Kidnapping”; he faces up to 12 years in prison. He had previously been convicted of fraud.
