The White House thanked Elon Musk on Thursday for his services, after the multimillionaire announced that he puts an end to his mission besides the Donald Trump administration to reduce public spending, AFP reports.
“We thank him for his work. We thank him for launching Doge (the name of his commission for government efficiency, n.red.), And the efforts to reduce the waste, fraud and abuse will continue,” Karoline Leavitt's spokesman told the press.
She did not want to make more comments on the departure of the billionaire entrepreneur, who this week was criticized for the first time on her great Donald Trump.
Elon Musk confirmed on Wednesday that he ceases his mission to reduce public spending, after an unprecedented experiment that lasted four months.
