BEC requests the candidates not to issue electoral messages, given that the campaign has been completed

The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) asks the candidates not to issue electoral messages in the public space, considering that on Saturday, May 17, the election campaign has been completed.

“In the context in which, starting at 7 o'clock in the voting, the continuation of the election propaganda actions is forbidden, representing the illegal campaign, the bulb requests the electoral competitors not to issue in the public space messages that violate, directly or indirectly, this prohibition, as well as any messages of nature to mislead the voters.
The BEC specifies that, in collaboration with the other public authorities involved in the organization of the elections, all legal measures were taken to carry out the entire electoral process, both in the country and abroad.”, BEC transmits.
Also, the BEC recommends are informed from official sources, such as the Internet pages of the Central Electoral Bureau (www.bec.ro), of the Electoral Bureau no. 48 for the polling stations from abroad (https://www.mae.ro/node/66407), of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (https://www.mae.ro/node/66314), or of the permanent electoral authority (https://www.roaep.ro/sence/Alegeri-prezidential-2025/).
The election campaign for the second round of the presidential elections ended on Saturday at 07:00. The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) warns that it is forbidden to continue the electoral propaganda after the campaign is completed.
