The police named the number of drunk drivers caught over the weekend in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Over the past three-day weekend, traffic police inspectors detained 129 drunk drivers on the roads in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Among the violators were five motorists who had already been prosecuted for driving while intoxicated.
Also police removed from driving six drivers who allowed themselves to drive without a license and while under the influence.
All violators were brought to justice: those caught drunk for the first time – to administrative, and again – to criminal.
“The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that driving while intoxicated is not just a violation, but a conscious choice that can cost your life. Even a small amount of alcohol reduces reaction time, dulls attention and makes the driver a potential killer. Police officers urge citizens not to remain indifferent and to report drunk drivers by calling 102. Perhaps your call will save someone’s life,” the department’s statement says.
