
If in the morning you see a chain of ants at the stove, on the windowsill or near bread, then they have already settled in the house. They are looking for crumbs, sugar, moisture. But traps, aerosols and pungent odors are not the only way out. There is a simpler, nicer and safer way.
You will need ordinary ground cinnamon. Pour it with a thin strip at the threshold, along the skirting boards, near the cracks and where the ants were seen. You can sprinkle around the bin or under the sink. The smell of cinnamon for us is comfort and warmth. And for ants it is a signal: “It is dangerous here. Go by side.”
Ants are guided by smell. Cinnamon interrupts their chemical traces and violates the path. They lose their way and stop returning. A couple of hours after processing, they become noticeably smaller. There is not one by dinner.
The cinnamon is safe: it does not harm children, cats, dogs, does not stain the floor and does not leave a pungent smell. And it smells nice and makes the kitchen more comfortable.
The main thing is not to wait for a miracle at a time. Repeat the processing for 2-3 days in a row. After that, the ants will stop entering.
