Trump's man criticized Europe. He talked about “dangerous ideologies”

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth used Saturday's commemoration of the 82nd anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy to “warn” Europe against the invasion of “dangerous ideologies”, calling on the continent to act against mass migration.
Hegseth said: “Unfortunately, today European beaches are being stormed by various dangerous ideologies. Boats with migrants are arriving on beaches in Spain, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.” —When will the capitals of Europe do something about this invasion? Or maybe it's too late? I pray no and I believe no, he added.
These are yet another such words of criticism from the Trump administration
The D-Day ceremony commemorates the Normandy landings in 1944, when American and Allied forces crossed the English Channel to begin the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi occupation.
Hegseth's comments echoed those of other US officials, including US President Donald Trump, who criticized European countries for failing to control migration. In December, Washington warned in its national security strategy that Europe faces a potential “wipeout of civilization” driven by migration, weakening national identities and government policies that allegedly undermine sovereignty.
