The statements were made on the White House lawn before a domestic trip to Nevada and Arizona. Trump took an optimistic tone, saying that the current truce – which expires next week – could be extended, although in his opinion, this could prove unnecessary if the negotiations move forward quickly, according to the same source, cited by Agerpres.
“If an agreement is signed in Islamabad I could go. They want me thereTrump said.
Trump claimed, without providing evidence, that Iran had agreed to hand over stockpiles of enriched uranium believed to have been damaged by US-Israeli airstrikes the previous year.
He used the phrase “nuclear dust” to describe the material, a term he frequently uses to refer to enriched uranium: “They agreed to hand over the nuclear powder to usah”.
“There is a very high chance that we will reach an acord,” added the American leader.
