In addition to AfD representatives, former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder was also seen in Moscow on those days, the German television channel N-tv reported. It is not known whether he came to Russia for the St. Petersburg forum.

In addition to politicians, German entrepreneurs also appeared at the forum in St. Petersburg. Among them are the shareholder of the Globus chain, Thomas Bruch, the shareholder of the Ekoniva group, Stefan Dürr, and the co-owner of the Masterlok company near Moscow, Leo Eppinger. Some of them have Russian citizenship or represent companies that have been separated from their German structures.
