The head of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin confirmed plans to build a five-star hotel. According to TASS, the object should appear by the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk in 2028.
The mayor noted that such a hotel has long been needed for a millionaire city. According to the region's tourism agency, more than 800 thousand people visited Krasnoyarsk last year alone. After the anniversary, the flow of tourists is expected to increase.
Earlier, Governor Mikhail Kotyukov reported that they plan to build a hotel with 120 rooms on Strelka. The project received federal preferential lending under the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”. The hotel will also have a business area, spa, gym, restaurant and underground parking.
Now in Krasnoyarsk there is only one five-star mini-hotel with 14 rooms. In total, about 240 different projects are planned for the city’s anniversary.
