Zbigniew Ziobro's declaration of assets. New loan and lower savings

Zbigniew Ziobro has 260 thousand. PLN and approximately EUR 800 in savings. This is significantly less than a year ago, when the former Minister of Justice declared 476,000. PLN and 145 euro. The PiS politician's latest asset declaration includes a long entry about a loan. “At that time, I did not have greater financial resources in Hungary that would allow me to organize defense,” we read.
According to the property declaration, as at the end of 2025, Ziobro is the owner of a single-family house with an area of 133 sq m. The value of the property, together with the farm building and the summer house, is estimated at 950 thousand zloty.
Additionally, Ziobro is the owner of three plots: an undeveloped agricultural plot with an area of 73 ares and two forest and agricultural plots with an area of 1.1 ha and 1.4 ha. The three plots are worth PLN 175,000 respectively. PLN 140 thousand PLN and 170 thousand zloty.

Loan from the Sovereign Poland Institute Foundation
In the section on liabilities, credits and loans, Ziobro wrote: “When I was outside Poland at an official conference in Budapest, I was surprised by fabricated charges and a request for my arrest filed in the country. In the face of numerous abuses and cases of breaking the law, which deprived me of a real chance for a fair trial in Poland, I decided to stay abroad. At that time, I did not have more financial resources in Hungary that would allow me to organize defense. I couldn't cover the costs myself.”
“Therefore, I turned to the Institute of Sovereign Poland Foundation for help in financing the defense. Therefore, I committed that when I have appropriate funds, I will reimburse the Foundation for all defense costs incurred and an additional amount corresponding to 50%. these costs. Defense costs incurred by the Foundation in 2025 amounted to PLN 57,000. PLN net. This amount will be returned to the Foundation and increased by an additional 50%. The refund amount for this year that I will incur is PLN 85,000. zloty” — we read on.
“On November 12, 2025, the funds in my bank account and my properties were seized“- we read further.
According to information from the Internal Security Agency provided by Donald Tusk in early April, at the turn of October and November 2025, i.e. shortly before the vote on the cryptocurrency market act, the president of Zondacrypto, Przemysław Kral, made payments to two foundations. 450 thousand PLN went to the Institute of Sovereign Poland foundation, whose president is the former Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro.
