On June 1, a complete ban on the retail sale of alcohol is introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported in Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The restriction will be in effect on Children's Day. The corresponding Law of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory came into force on March 1, 2026, the norm is being applied for the first time. The sale of alcoholic beverages will be prohibited in all retail outlets, regardless of format: supermarkets, hypermarkets, stores in free-standing buildings and retail facilities located in apartment buildings. An exception will be made only for catering establishments.
Similar restrictions will be introduced in the region on September 1 – Knowledge Day.
It is worth noting that the ban on the retail sale of alcohol on June 1 will apply not only in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to IrkutskMedia news agency, in the Irkutsk region on Children’s Day it will not be possible to buy alcohol from 8:00 to 23:00.
Let us remind you that earlier in the Krasnoyarsk Territory the hours for the sale of alcohol were reduced. Now for shops located in apartment buildings and in adjacent areas, the sale of alcohol is allowed only from 10:00 to 21:00.
Violation of the ban is subject to administrative liability. For officials and individual entrepreneurs, the fine will be up to 40 thousand rubles, for legal entities – up to 300 thousand rubles.
