In Krasnoyarsk, 44 kilograms of potentially dangerous meat were found at the Yenisei Privoz market. The regional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor spoke about this.
Experts organized an inspection visit to the market at the request of the regional prosecutor's office in order to check the activities of an individual entrepreneur who traded beef and lamb there. It turned out that the man was violating the requirements of the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation.
“Chilled lamb carcasses and quarters were sold without conducting a veterinary and sanitary examination and registration of veterinary accompanying documents for the controlled goods in the Mercury component of the FSIS Vetis,” the Department reported.
Rosselkhoznadzor explained that illegal import of meat without approval from the state veterinary service can lead to the spread of dangerous animal diseases. For violations committed against IP Kobilova Kh.A. initiated administrative cases under Part 1 of Art. 10.6 and part 3 of Art. 10.8 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
Based on the results of the inspection, 44 kilograms of products were withdrawn from circulation and destroyed in a specialized organization.
