There's a lot of talk about Epstein again. The father of Trump's new daughter-in-law was friends with him

You don't choose your family. However, thanks to the wedding of his son, Donald Jr., a new, intriguing configuration appears in Donald Trump's circle: the deceased father of his new daughter-in-law, Bettina Andersononce had business ties to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and supported his economic plans in the Virgin Islands.

One thing is clear: there is no evidence that banker Harry Loy Anderson, who died in 2013, knew about Epstein's crimes. However, the document that has just come to light at least suggests that a successful banker could assist a financier in his business affairs.

According to media reports Anderson was supposed to be a kind of promoter and guarantor for Epstein. A letter from 1999 has just appeared on the X platform, which allegedly opened the way for Epstein to the tax haven in the Virgin Islands. Anderson was supposed to not only stand up for Epstein, but even recommend him with full confidence to the Industrial Development Commission – the economic development agency responsible for attracting companies to the Virgin Islands.

“Jeffrey Epstein is a gentleman of the highest integrity,” Harry Loy Anderson reportedly wrote to the committee, “and he has an excellent reputation.” This letter probably helped Epstein obtain tax breaks in the Virgin Islands. This is particularly interesting because it was there that Epstein owned, among others, Little St. James – an island that later became known around the world as “Epstein Island”. Epstein reportedly kept accounts at a bank owned by Anderson in Palm Beach since the early 1990s.

Donald Trump did not appear at his son's wedding

American media report that Don Jr. and Bettina Anderson first got married in Palm Beach, and then celebrated in an intimate group on a private island in the Bahamas. The bride posted a black and white photo of the ring on her finger on her Instagram and wrote: “Forever yours. Forever mine.”
Already before the weekend Donald Trump's resignation from the ceremony caused a stir and a wave of rumors. The president himself explained that missing his eldest son's wedding was due to state duties. The wedding “doesn't happen at the best time.” He added: – I have something like Iran and other issues.

There is no reason to believe that Trump's absence was related to the Epstein reports.
