The international event “Garden of Memory” will take place in Krasnoyarsk on May 28. This was reported by the Ministry of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Residents and guests of the city will be able to plant trees in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The organizers will provide participants with equipment and planting material. Those who wish will also be able to plant a personalized tree and dedicate it to a veteran of their family or a specific war hero. Pre-registration is required to receive thank-you letters and track volunteer hours.
The “Garden of Memory” campaign has been running since 2020. During this time, more than 50 million trees were planted in Russia and abroad. You can also join the promotion online. Detailed information is published on the website garden-memory.rf.
The event will take place in the park near the Platinum Arena railway station. Starts at 16:00. The event is supported by the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and the Federal Forestry Agency within the framework of the national project “Ecological Well-Being”. The organizers are the regional branch of the Ecosystem movement and the Krugovorot eco-center.
