May 25 12:51
In Krasnoyarsk on the overpass along Aviatorov Street The expansion joints will be repaired and the asphalt concrete surface will be restored around them. The mayor's office spoke about this.
The contractor has already started work – now it is being carried out on the two rightmost lanes towards 9 May Street, the site has been fenced off.
The specialists decided not to completely block the passage during the repair; they will work in two lanes on one side and the other, moving from one section to another. Traffic restrictions will remain in effect until the end of summer.
“On the overpass along Aviatorov Street, during construction, expansion joints with rubber expansion joints were used, which are worn out and require repair. It is worth noting that bridge structures are subject to constant loads: transport, wind, vibration, temperature fluctuations and foundation movements. Unlike a regular road, the bridge never remains stationary. It changes its geometry every day – sometimes by centimeters. To prevent this from leading to destruction, engineers use a special element – an expansion joint. This is the mechanism that allows the bridge to expand, contract and shift without breaking or cracking. In essence, a seam is a flexible boundary between parts of a structure,” the administration explained.
Let us remind you that work is also underway on the Oktyabrsky Bridge. They will carry out local repairs to the roadway surface. — the dedicated bus lane will be updated, parapet and side barriers will be replaced. Now, on the side of traffic from the left bank to the right, the old parapet is being replaced with a new one, traffic is limited.
Also this year, the 777 (Korkinsky) bridge and two overpasses along Pogranichnikov Street in the area of CHPP-3 will be repaired in Krasnoyarsk. To update all five crossings andAlmost 226.3 million rubles were allocated from the budget.
