In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, more than 6 thousand families received payment at the birth of a child

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, since the beginning of 2026, more than 6 thousand families have received a one-time benefit for the birth of a child. Payments were made to 4,700 working and 1,413 non-working parents. This was reported in the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia.

A one-time benefit is a one-time support measure. It can be received by one of the parents, as well as an adoptive parent, guardian or foster parent. The payment does not depend on family income and the number of children.

From February 1, 2026, the benefit amount in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is 28,450 rubles. Taking into account the regional coefficient, the amount may be higher and range from 34,140 to 51,210 rubles. If several children were born in a family, the benefit is assigned to each child.

“The birth of a child is family happiness and an investment in the future of our country. The state pays special attention to supporting families with children, and the payment of a lump sum benefit upon the birth of a child is one example of such care. Since the beginning of the year, more than 6,000 families in our region have received benefits,” explained Marina Dolmatova, deputy manager of the OSFR for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

If one of the parents works, the benefit is assigned at the place of work or service. In this case, you do not need to submit an application. The payment is processed automatically after receipt of information from the registry office. Money is transferred within 10 working days. In the case where both parents do not work, the application must be submitted through State Services, the MFC or the client service of the Social Fund. This must be done within 6 months of the child’s birth.
