November 14 15:00

By the end of 2025, 10 drones will be purchased for regional departments and organizations under the program “Development of unmanned aircraft systems in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.”

The Ministry of Digital Development of the region said that the new devices will be received by the service for state protection of cultural heritage sites of the region, the regional Ministry of Ecology, the Construction Supervision Service and the regional Information Technology Center.

The drones will be used to monitor the condition of cultural heritage sites, water bodies, waste disposal sites and subsoil areas, as well as to inspect capital construction sites.

“Specialists will be able to conduct monitoring and quickly receive information without visiting sites. New technologies will allow the region to strengthen its status as a territory of technological leadership, where unmanned aerial systems are being developed and implemented to solve various management problems,” noted Nikolai Raspopin, Minister of Digital Development of the region.

Successful implementation of UAS requires specialist training. Recently in St. Petersburg, employees of the service for state protection of cultural heritage sites of the region underwent such training.

Let us remind you that the development of the UAS industry in the region is one of the key objectives of the national project “Unmanned Aircraft Systems”. The Krasnoyarsk Territory already has successful experience in using unmanned technologies in forestry, where 77 aircraft are used. For key sectors of the economy, social sphere, and public administration, 21 aircraft-type drones were purchased.
