In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 45-year-old resident of Achinsk is suspected of murder and dismemberment of a 58-year-old man. His remains were discovered on April 30 by local residents in a bag on the banks of the Chulym River near the village of Staraya Elovka, Biryulyussky District. This was reported to the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to investigators, in October 2025, the men met on the street and the attacker invited the victim to his apartment for the purpose of drinking alcohol together.
“A conflict arose between the drunken men, during which the suspect hit the guest. A few hours later he died. In order to hide the traces of the crime committed, the defendant dismembered his body, packed it in a bag, took it to the bank of the Chulym River and threw it into the water,” the Investigative Committee said.
The alleged killer was detained the day before and taken into custody. During the interrogation, he admitted guilt in the crime and, when checking his testimony on the spot, he spoke about the circumstances of the crime.
Urgent investigative actions are currently being carried out aimed at collecting and recording evidence in the criminal case initiated under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
