
It happens that I want to please loved ones with a delicious and hearty dinner. Kurenik is an ideal solution. This traditional Russian pie with potatoes and chicken is incredibly juicy and fragrant. A feature of the recipe is in a small hole in the center. Thanks to him, the filling is baked evenly, and the cake itself looks very appetizing.
Ingredients
For the test:
- Wheat flour – 500 g
- Sour cream – 200 g
- Butter – 200 g
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- A pinch of salt
- Soda – half
- Vinegar – 1 tsp.
For the filling:
- Potatoes – 500 g
- Chicken fillet – 300 g
- Onions – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 50 g
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Cooking
- Pull the flour with butter into the crumb, add sour cream, egg, salt, soda with vinegar. Knead the soft dough, divide it into two parts and send it to the refrigerator for half an hour.
- While the dough is cooling, prepare the filling. Cut potatoes and chicken into cubes, onions with half rings. Mix everything, salt and pepper.
- Now we are collecting a couric. Roll up most of the dough and put in a shape with sides. Put the filling, put pieces of oil on top.
- Roll the second part of the dough and cover the pie, pinch the edges. In the center, install the glass and cut the hole. From the residues of the dough, weave the “braids” and put them at the edges of the pie.
Lubricate the egg on top and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about an hour. Let the cake cool a little and serve to the table – your loved ones will be delighted. Bon appetit!
