Gigi Becali, the patron of the FCSBissued a warning to him Daniel Pancucurrently on the bank of the CFR Cluj and involved in tensions with the club's owner, Ioan Varga. “Pancone” is wanted at Rapid, but the boss from FCSB warned him that it won't be easy
The technician is getting closer to a possible takeover of those from Rapid next season, and Becali commented on the situation in a characteristic style.
Gigi Becali, about Pancu at Rapid: “We don't compare them with CFR”
“What Pancu did was something fantastic! Now I don't know, what he did, that Louis Munteanu, who was messing around, left, I can't know. Pancu did something fantastic. Now let's see Pancu at Rapid. We don't compare CFR with Rapid, it's a different club. It's different at Rapid, and supporters, and leaders, and other claims.
CFR, although it has won many championships, is not a club with a great tradition. If you don't have supporters… They are from Cluj, but U Cluj has more supporters. You can't pretend to be a club with tradition.
At Rapid, you lost two matches, oops, the train tracks are coming“, Gigi Becali declared, according to sport.ro.

The context of the tensions at CFR Cluj
The conflict between Daniel Pancu and Ioan Varga broke out in mid-May, amid negotiations for the future contract and rumors regarding the technician's departure.
Pancu would have asked for more conditions to continue at CFR Cluj, including up-to-date salary payments, important transfers and the improvement of the training infrastructure.
Varga's reaction was harsh, he called Pancu “insensitive” and also announced a possible termination clause, but also the intention to bring back Dan Petrescu.
In response, Pancu claimed that he has straightened the team and that his demands are normal for the current level of football, stressing that he did not come “from the street” and that he deserves respect for the work done.
