Genoa are doing better without Patrick Vieira

After an extremely modest start to the season, which led to the team falling to the red zone of the Italian ranking, Patrick Vieira was removed from the team's helm, and this decision made by Dan Șucu seems to have caught the “griffin” well.

Returning to Serie A, the “nerazzurri” occupy the 3rd position, only one length away from AC Milan and Napoli, the teams leading the hierarchy. Chivu's team also managed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Cup, after a decisive victory over second division Venezia, 5-1 at “Giuseppe Meazza”.
