In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office identified a conflict of interest in the Kozul district hospital after a sick leave was issued for a patient who was a close relative of the doctor. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

In December 2025, a local resident went to the hospital with a toothache. The appointment was conducted by a dentist who turned out to be his close relative. She issued the patient sick leave for 15 days. By law, in such a situation, the doctor must inform management about the relationship with the patient and transfer it to another specialist. However, this did not happen.

The prosecutor's office later determined that the actual treatment may not have been carried out. On those days and hours when, according to medical documents, the man allegedly had an appointment, he was in other places. This was confirmed by the visit logs of local authorities and the court. The prosecutor's office came to the conclusion that the sick leave was issued without the actual provision of medical care.

A presentation was made to the head doctor of the hospital, and then the dentist was reprimanded for his service. The sick leave was sent for recheck.
