The 48-year-old woman who was stabbed four times by a man on a street in the Capital on Friday, around 10 o'clock, told the hospital that none of the passers-by who saw her wounded intervened in support of her, according to her testimony by a representative of the hospital. In Saturday's statement, the prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Court said that a pass was the one who called 112.
The aggressor, a 28 -year -old man, was detained by the authorities on Friday, and the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Court announced on Saturday that he has been preventively arrested for 30 days. According to prosecutors, he is a recidivist, having a history of offenses such as rape attempt, sexual aggression and robbery, but there is no data to show that he has psychiatric history.
When the attack took place, the woman was heading to the subway to go to work. According to observatornews.ro, after attacking it, the aggressor threw the knife into a two-step trash and went down to the subway, among the other passers-by.
During the hearings, the attacker admitted that he did not know the woman, but could not explain why he attacked her.
Representative of the hospital, about the victim: “he told us that no one intervened”
Fiorella Mitoiu, representative of the hospital in which the victim was admitted after the attack, says that the 48-year-old woman “was extremely shocked” by the attitude of the passers-by.
“She was extremely shocked, first of all the attitude of those around us. She told us that no one intervened with absolutely nothing. They did not even stop to support 112. She was forced to sound at the ambulance,” said Fiorella Mitoiu.
She stated that the victim was “was brought to UPU with multiple stabbed wounds both at the head level and in the cervical, posterior, anterior and posterior thorax.”

“The aggression took place after the defendant followed the victim for a few minutes on the street and attacked it when there were no other people nearby. The author left the area shortly, being seen by some witnesses while moving away,” prosecutors said, quoted by News.ro.

According to prosecutors, on Friday, around 10.00, in Sector 3, spontaneously, for no apparent reason, the man has stabbed a 48-year-old woman with a knife, causing multiple wounds in cervical and thoracic regions.

The defendant was initially detained for 24 hours, then the judge of rights and freedoms within the Bucharest Court admitted the prosecutors' proposal and ordered his preventive arrest for a period of 30 days.
