Tennis player from Krasnoyarsk Mirra Andreeva will play in the semi-finals of singles and doubles in Madrid

A native of Krasnoyarsk, Mirra Andreeva successfully competes at the prestigious WTA 1000 tennis tournament in Madrid. Its prize fund exceeds 8.2 million euros.

The day before, the girl, together with Russian Diana Schneider, made it to the doubles semifinals. In the quarterfinals they beat Australian Ellen Perez and Demi Schours from the Netherlands.
As they write gornovosti.ru, the match lasted 1 hour 11 minutes and ended with a score of 6:3, 6:3 in favor of the Russians. In the semi-finals, Andreeva and Schneider will meet the duet Laura Siegemund (Germany) – Vera Zvonareva. The match is scheduled for tomorrow, May 1st.
Earlier, on April 28, Andreeva reached the semifinals in the singles of the same tournament. She beat Canadian Leila Fernandez 7:6 (7:1), 6:3. In the first set, Krasnoyarsk lost 1:4, and with the score 5:6, they won back three set points. In the semifinals of the singles tournament, Andreeva’s opponent will be American Haley Baptiste. The game will take place today, April 30.
