Outgoing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced on Saturday that he would not sit in the new parliament. Orban announced in a video posted on Facebook that he would focus on reorganizing his political camp.

– Since the mandate I won as the main candidate on the list of the Fidesz-KDNP coalition is in fact Fidesz's parliamentary mandate, I decided to resign from it, Orban said.
He added that he would focus on reorganizing his camp.
The Fidesz-KDNP coalition, headed by Orban, lost the parliamentary elections on April 12 to the opposition TISHA grouping, which obtained a constitutional majority. The resigning head of the Hungarian government is the longest-serving politician in the history of Hungary. (PAP)
