Storm Johannes hit the Scandinavian countries hard. Tragic balance sheet and thousands of homes left in the dark

Two people died in Sweden on Saturday, authorities said, as Storm Johannes battered Norway, Sweden and Finland, leaving thousands without electricity.
The Swedish Meteorological Institute has issued strong wind warnings for much of northern Sweden as storm Johannes batters the country, writes Agerpres.
A man in his 50s has died near the Kungsberget ski resort in central Sweden.
“A tree fell on a man because of the storm,” Mats Lann of Gavleborg police told AFP, adding that the victim was taken to hospital but did not survive.
Further north, regional electricity supplier Hemab reported that one of its employees had also died in an “on-the-job” accident.
According to the SVT television channel, it was also crushed by a tree uprooted by the storm.
According to the Finnish public radio station Yle, more than 120,000 households in Finland were without electricity, with the western part of the country being the most affected.
Swedish news agency TT reported that more than 40,000 Swedish households were also without power.
