The Capital Construction Department entered into a contract for the development of design documentation for the reconstruction of an unused part of the Mechta children's cinema with Grazhdanproekt JSC.
The telegram channel of the city hall “GradVestnik” reported that in additional areas of the cinema building it is planned to create a film school for children with a presentation hall, classrooms for classes in acting, cinematography, video editing, directing and screenwriting.
When developing a territory improvement project, it is necessary to take into account the preliminary design “Improvement and equipment of the territory of the children’s cinema “Dream”, developed by the specialized architectural and design organization “A2”.
“The Mechta Cinema is the only children’s cinema beyond the Urals and a unique place for Krasnoyarsk. The future film school will become a center for the creative development and education of young actors, directors, screenwriters and cameramen. Therefore, designers face an interesting challenge. We, in turn, will control the process,” said the acting director. Alexander Paramygin, head of the MAU Capital Construction Administration.
The deadline for completing the development of project documentation is November 30, 2026. The contract value is 17.251 million rubles.
