In Minusinsk, the second forum “The City Cities of Russia” was held.
At the plenary meeting of the forum, the main directions of development of the supporting settlements was discussed by the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov, representatives of the federal ministries, the heads of municipalities, youth, scientific and expert communities, as well as a business in the person of the General Director of Suek-Krasnoyarsk JSC Evgeny Yevtushenko.
“The support cities and settlements of Russia is a frame that holds the territory of the whole country,” said Mikhail Kotyukov. – Therefore, their complex development is important. We all understand that creating a comfortable environment in small cities is not enough. It is necessary to develop the economy, solve personnel issues and take into account a number of other factors. It is important to constantly keep in the field of view issues that concern the inhabitants of our supporting settlements – this will help the territories become growth points, including for neighboring areas and rural settlements. And without inclusion in these issues, we will not succeed in any stronghold points. ”
The importance of a tripartite dialogue between the authorities, business and residents was emphasized in his speech by the general director of Suek-Krasnoyarsk JSC Evgeny Yevtushenko, noting that the company has actively participates in almost all spheres of the life of the cities of responsibility-Nazarovo, Borodino and Sharypovo, which are among the 29 main settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

“The company employs 5.5 thousand people – the inhabitants of our cities, the staffing is about 98 % and it is important for us not only to maintain this indicator, but to improve it,” said Yevgeny Yevtushenko. – For this, we are already forming a personnel reserve today, through joint projects with the Melnichenko Foundation, federal and regional programs. We create comfortable conditions not only at workplaces, but also in cities. So, thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Construction of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, municipalities, the Melnichenko, Suek-Krasnoyarsk and SGK, for many years of the city of Borodino, Nazarovo, Sharypovo, Kansk and Minusinsk, the best projects for the formation of a comfortable urban environment are taking part in the All-Russian competition. Over the past 5 years, we have implemented 10 projects to create new public spaces totaling 918 million rubles. On August 21, the fate of another 5 projects will become known when the winners of the contest of this year will be announced in Kazan. Most importantly, we do all this together with residents who, like no other, know the growth points of their territories, and issues that require an immediate solution. Together with them, we began to develop master plans: we held a competition, following which 9 Russian teams-the best in the field of city-building and architecture, prepared volumetric projects. Now on their basis is the preparation of important documents important for supporting settlements. We understand the importance of synergy of power, business and residents in the development of small cities, and are ready to continue to work in this direction. ”
Recall that the list of supporting settlements of Russia, which will become growth points, including for nearby territories, was approved at the end of 2024. Today it includes more than 2000 megacities and small cities in the country. Their development is the main goal of the National Project “Infrastructure for Life”, according to which the quality of life is social, transport, housing and communal infrastructure, ecology and urban environment as a whole in these settlements by 2030 should grow by 30 %, and by 2036-by 60 %.
