Young football players from the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Kemerovo Region will go to the final tournament in Sochi

The regional stage of the all-Russian competition “The Future Depends on You” has ended in Krasnoyarsk.
About fifty athletes from five regions of the Siberian Federal District took part in it. Children from 11 to 15 years old competed for the title of the best football team in two age groups – from the Altai and Krasnoyarsk territories, Khakassia, Omsk and Kemerovo regions.
In the junior group, the “Childhood House” team from the Kemerovo region took first place. The team won all matches of the competition. In the senior group, the champions were the Gagarinets football players from the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Both matches of the team ended in victory with a score of 3:0.
“I’m happy with the team and myself, we managed to win. We didn't miss a single goal, scored five and scored maximum points! I enjoyed playing at the tournament,” Nikita, defender of the Gagarinets team, assessed the team’s performance after the competition.
The next meetings with the participation of football players from the Kemerovo region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory will take place in the May finals of the competition in Sochi. There, children from orphanages and boarding schools from all over Russia will fight for victory in the tournament from May 18 to 23. The winners will have the opportunity to spend a weekend with the Russian national football team at friendly matches in June.
“There are few tournaments like “The Future Depends on You.” That's why our guys are always waiting for him. Competitions open up perspectives. Having won the first stage, the guys can prove themselves at the district level, and then go to the finals and play against the strongest teams in Russia. It's very motivating. Moreover, the final stage will be in Sochi. This is the sea, this is the sun, this is the mood. We will make every effort to win there,” Gagarinets coach Anton Sviridenko shared his emotions from the competition.
The charity project “The Future Depends on You” by MegaFon has been helping children travel around the regions of Russia, find friends and their calling for more than 20 years. This large-scale social program helped almost a thousand children find a home. The origins of the project were the initiative of MegaFon employees from St. Petersburg, which grew into an All-Russian championship. The co-organizers of the tournament are the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Russian Football Union.
