There is no metro service in Kharkov after Russian shelling


“It is temporarily impossible to start train traffic…The Metro is operating in shelter mode,” the message says.



At night, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, reported explosions in the suburbs of Kharkov.

The State Emergency Service said that the Russian occupiers attacked the Pesochinsk community with a controlled aerial bomb at night, wounding eight people. The gas station building was destroyed and cars were damaged. By morning, rescuers put out the fire and cleared away the rubble.



Kharkovoblenergo points out that after the shelling of the region by the Russians, “a difficult situation is observed,” but power engineers are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences.

People were urged not to turn on powerful electrical appliances.

Russian occupiers almost every day fire missiles, drones and aerial bombs at the Kharkov region, including regional center.

City Mayor Igor Terekhov stated that the coming winter would be the most difficult for Kharkov in all the years of the full-scale war, since the invaders destroyed transformer substations in the city.

On October 20, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the Russian Federation had launched a serial production of new bombs with a range of 200 km, which they began to hit Ukraine.
