Take care of your “pancreas”: the list of dangerous foods has been updated – it even includes apples

Gastroenterologist and nutritionist Rustem Sadykov warned about the main food risks that provoke pancreatic diseases. The “black list” included not only obvious products, but also some fruits, including apples.

According to the candidate of medical sciences, the most insidious foods are fatty fried foods. Also a serious threat is the combination of hot, spicy food with alcohol – it can cause inflammatory swelling of the gland duct and disrupt the outflow of digestive juices.

Alarming symptoms that require urgent medical attention:

  • Sharp squeezing pain in the upper abdomen, increasing over several hours.
  • Ineffectiveness of conventional painkillers.
  • Drinking alcohol before the onset of pain.

What to exclude from the diet if you have problems with the pancreas

  • Fried, smoked, spicy, pickled.
  • Sweet yoghurts with additives – sugar sharply increases the load on the organ.
  • Sour fruits and berries: lemons, oranges, tangerines, some berries.
  • Sweet fruits with a high glycemic index: bananas, grapes, persimmons.
  • Rough-skinned fruits: raw apples and pears. Acceptable only in the form of baked apples without peel, jelly or compotes.

In his Telegram channel (18+), the specialist noted that with enzyme deficiency, even healthy fats (for example, from nuts and avocados) can be poorly absorbed, causing heaviness and pain.
