Bumech has an agreement to purchase zinc, copper and silver ore mines in South Africa

Bumech has signed an agreement specifying the principles of taking over control of the Maranda zinc, copper, silver and associated metals ore mine in Limpopo, South Africa, the company announced in a press release.

The agreement was concluded with Booysen Family Trust and Maranda Mining Company PTY LTD, based in South Africa. The agreement specifies the method of establishing two joint venture companies and the rules for their joint operation.
The total value of the transaction will be ZAR 60,000,000. In addition, investment commitments related to the modernization and increase of the mine's efficiency in the years 2026 – 2028 will amount to approximately ZAR 120,000,000.
The Maranda mine is a deep mine, with mineralization from 100 m below the surface. So far, mining was carried out at 10%. concession area at a depth of 100 to 330 meters below the surface, is located in the Maranda 932LT area, in the eastern part of the Limpopo province in South Africa.
