Microsoft general manager, Satya Nadella, says up to 30% of Microsoft code lines are currently written by artificial intelligence.
“I would say that maybe 20 – 30% of the code we have stored in our repositions and in some of our projects it is probably written in full software,” said Nadella, quoted by CNBC. He added that the share of the written code of AI is constantly increasing.
Nadella made these statements in a discussion with the public, along with Mark Zuckerberg, the Meta CEO, at the Llamacon event, dedicated to developers and organized by the social media company that owns Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
Nadella asked Zuckerberg what a weight of the cod lines of the meta, but Zuckerberg replied that he does not know the exact figure. However, the chief of Meta said that he is working on an artificial intelligence model capable of creating future versions of the meta -model family.
In October, Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, said that more than 25% of the new code is written by AI.
Directors from several companies have said in recent months that junior programmers are starting to be replaced by AI software.
