“Iranian civilization is 7 thousand years old, American civilization is 250.” Tehran responded harshly to Trump

On April 1, US President Donald Trump again threatened possible strikes against Iran.

“We're going to hit them hard over the next two or three weeks. We're going to push them back to the Stone Age where they belong,” Trump said.

In response, the Iranian mission to the UN emphasized that such threats could be regarded as a potential violation of international humanitarian law and the Rome Charter.

Diplomats also noted the length of Iran's history compared to the United States.

“Iran's civilization is over 7,000 years old, while that of the United States is barely 250 years old. Civilizations are defined by their history, culture, sustainability and scientific contributions,” the statement said.

In addition, Tehran notes that the contribution of Iranian scientists to world science has been formed over millennia and remains an important part of the global heritage.

“Such a civilization cannot be destroyed by bombing,” the message concluded.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also made a separate statement on the X network. He said there is a “huge difference between now and the Stone Age,” noting that there was no oil or gas being produced in the Middle East back then.

“Are the US President and the Americans who appointed him sure that they want to turn back time?” – he added.
