Specialists from the Krasnoyarsk branch of the CSC AIC conducted a large-scale inspection of street food. They completed more than 500 fast food studies in the last quarter.

According to the technical director of the inspection body, Elena Salman, the main danger of such food is the imbalance of nutrients. “The high content of fats and simple carbohydrates is combined with a critically low amount of dietary fiber and protein. Due to the lack of fiber, the feeling of hunger returns within a few hours,” the expert explained.
Experts are especially concerned about the summer season, when high temperatures accelerate the decomposition of food. Manufacturers also often disguise low-quality raw materials by abundantly adding sauces and seasonings.
The test results showed that only two samples out of a hundred had microbiological abnormalities.
However, experts warn that regular consumption of fast food leads to weight gain and health problems due to excess salt and chemical additives.
