“This is contrary to isolationism, commercial barriers and fragmentation of the multilateral system based on rules. They destroy well -being and reduce the standard of living. It is an important message for the times we live,” he added.

On Monday, here it reduced an essential estimate regarding the profits at the industry level for 2025, invoking the commercial tensions and the decrease of the confidence of the consumers, while also criticizing the “unacceptable” delays in the aircraft deliveries, which affected their growth plans.

The extended customs taxes imposed by US President Donald Trump have fueled fears about economic slowing and reduced discretionary expenses, causing many consumers, especially from the United States, to postpone or reduce travel plans.

These customs duties also endanger a decade agreement between over 30 countries to eliminate import/export fees on aircraft and their parts.

Walsh has appealed to governments to “keep the aerospace industry away from commercial wars.”
