What are the prices of gasoline and diesel in Ukraine. The country's fuel stocks at war

The pace of fuel price increases in Ukraine started to slow down after the sharp increases in the first part of March. According to an analysis published by the local media, since March 24, tensions related to pump prices have eased further and daily increases have become more moderate.

State operator Ukrnafta kept prices unchanged for the second day in a row.

In private networks, prices are generally higher, but large companies have also slowed down the rate of price increases, according to a focus.ua article.

Examples of prices in private networks:

BVS:

• A-95 gasoline — 7 RON;

• A-95 PRO gasoline — 7.3 RON;

• A-98 gasoline — 7.7 RON;

• A-95 EKO gasoline — 6 RON;

• diesel — 8.4 RON;

• PRO diesel — 8.7 RON;

• LPG — 4.6 RON.

Is there a risk of a diesel crisis?

Despite some recent fears, experts say there is no risk of a shortage. Analysis cited by Reuters indicated uncertainty over April deliveries, but the market is supplied until the end of March and daily imports rose 3% to nearly 17,000 tonnes.

Energy expert Serhiy Kuyun rejected the scenario of a crisis, stating that deliveries in March are at the level of 2025, and almost 40% of contracts for April are already secured.

“There is no shortage, nor is it expected. In addition, there are no more queues at gas stations,” he emphasized, explaining that the panic was generated by the misinterpretation of market analyses.

The development of pump prices still depends on the international oil market. Recently, the quotes fell after the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the postponement of possible attacks on the energy infrastructure in Iran. This development contributed to calming the market and slowing price increases in Ukraine.
