The Constanta Court of Appeal decided on Thursday, August 21, that Vlad Pascu, the author of the accident on May 2, will be sentenced to 10 years in prison. The sentence comes at two years and two days since the tragedy in which Roberta and Sebi died.

“We were expecting this decision. Some strings were drawn from the beginning, Vlad Pascu's parents did everything possible to minimize the possible sentence. That is, he will meet in a few years with his parents, he will restore his life, but we will not see our children.”said Cătălin Dragomir, Roberta's father, deadly injured by Vlad Pascu, at Digi 24.

The man does not believe that Vlad Pascu will be rehabilitated, after he is sentenced to prison.

“In Romania there are two types of judgment: for a certain social class and for us, the ordinary people. This man will never rehabilitate. Especially since he comes from an arrogant family, who permanently beat the memory of these two children.” said Cătălin Dragomir.

Valentin Olariu, Sebastian's father, one of the young people killed in the accident caused by Vlad Pascu, declares himself deeply disappointed by the sentence. He claims c“Many maneuvers have been made” for Vlad Pascu's punishment to be reduced.

“It is very difficult today. I was hoping for a greater sentence. The lawyers have done everything they can to take up to 10 years. He has some facilities if he takes up to 10 years. Two years he has already done it, another three years for good behavior, I have five years. We will see again on our streets. Lowned, how many maneuvers were made. said Valentin Olariu, the father of the young man killed on May 2.

One of the boys, Andrei Sebastian Olariu, wanted to come by car on the coast, but his father asked to not do it, because he was dangerous. The boy wanted to come with his colleagues at sea and was finally left, although the father had a feeling.

“Sebi came by train to the sea, his father did not let him take the car, precisely because he was very dangerous. The child wanted to go to the sea, it was the day of a friend,” said Mihai Drăgan, the cousin of Sebi's father.

Roberta Marina Dragomir, his colleague, was happy to go to sea with the group. Beside her was her cousin, Ioan Nicolescu. “She was very glad she took her car permit. I said I came home and buy a car. Now I buy her place, instead of a car.”said Cătălin Dragomir, Roberta's father.
