'Professor Apocalypse', Putin adviser, threatens a third world war: 'Britain will be destroyed with nuclear weapons'

Moscow is stepping up its threats against Ukraine's Western allies. Russian political scientist Sergei Karaganov, nicknamed “Professor Apocalypse”, is issuing a terrifying threat of a third world war in which “Britain will be destroyed with nuclear weapons”, according to Express.co.uk.

Sergei Karaganov believes that Russia should use a nuclear explosion to intimidate the British political leadership into complying with Vladimir Putin's demands.

Putin's adviser has warned that a new world war is coming, which can only be stopped if the West clearly understands that Russia will use atomic weapons.

“Russia should make a firm commitment, in the event of a war with an adversary that surpasses it demographically and economically, to use nuclear weapons. “Professor Apocalypse” sees Britain and France as the countries opposing Putin when it comes to Ukraine and mobilizing the free world to challenge Moscow.

“Firstly, we must continue exercises of our strategic and sub-strategic forces, which demonstrate to our British and, God forbid, French, neighbors that we are capable of launching a disarming attack.” Karaganov also said.

Putin's adviser appears to be referring to a nuclear test attack, possibly in the Arctic, as a direct warning to Britain and France, according to Express.co.uk.

Sergey Karaganov also stated that a key objective of Putin is to replace the current ones “elite” from Western countries, including Britain, with leaders who do not oppose the dictator in Moscow.

Sergei Karaganov – who is honorary chairman of the Russian Foreign Affairs Council and dean of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the Moscow Higher School of Economics – denied that he had prepared his own bunker, but said:
