The ex-actress of the Krasnoyarsk Drama Theater named after Pushkin and the “Theater on the Roof” played the role of orphanage graduate Rita Simonova in the detective thriller “Prints”. The series premiere will take place on April 1 at the KION online cinema, part of the MTS group of companies.
The plot revolves around a series of brutal murders in provincial Zarechny. Investigator Yana Knyazeva (Oksana Akinshina) takes on the case. Because of her radical methods and personal involvement, police captain Denis Simonov (Dmitry Chebotarev) is involved in the investigation. One of the leads leads them to a local orphanage.
The heroine of Anna Bogomolova is Rita Simonova, Yana’s childhood friend and the captain’s wife, who is expecting a child from him. The actress describes her character as a person who fought for her place all her life, but finally found quiet family happiness. At the same time, according to her, the character turned out to be ambiguous.
“Rita and I are very different, but I, of course, put my own traits into her. The team behind the show was great to work with. Oksana Akinshina is wonderful. We laughed a lot, discussed everyday problems, women's things, even shopping. Oksana is a very experienced film actress, she has been acting almost all her life, and I had a lot to learn from her,” said Anna Bogomolova.
Evgeniy Sannikov, Oleg Ryazantsev, Agrippina Steklova and Polina Kutepova are also involved in the project.
